Stephen is the third Australian in history to be elected Speaker (Chair) of the FDI World Dental Federation General Assembly, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The FDI represents 135+ countries and over one million practitioners worldwide, shaping WHO and UN policy and driving a coordinated global movement to improve oral health for all. Elected for 2024-27, he also sits on the FDI World Council.
Stephen completed his dental degree at the University of Melbourne, joined the practice in 2008 & has co-owned the business since 2013. He enjoys helping patients achieve dental health via ideal treatment planning with a focus on patient comfort, including Nitrous Oxide sedation as required. He takes complex rehabilitation and cosmetic cases by referral.
His clinical career spans public & private sectors, rural & Indigenous health, and volunteer aid — including international work in Nepal, remote aboriginal communities & low socioeconomic areas of Australia. Prior to Camberwell he held positions at Cobram District Hospital and Goulburn Valley Base Hospital in Shepparton.
In 2025, he was among 18 internationally influential figures selected for the inaugural Global Oral Health Leadership Institute Program in Boston, run by Harvard University, King’s College London, and the International College of Dentists.
A former Federal and Victorian President of the Australian Dental Association, Stephen represented the profession at the 2023 Senate Inquiry into Dental Services in Australia. His professional leadership has included roles on the Australian Digital Health Agency Secure Messaging Committee, University of Melbourne DDS Curriculum Review Panel, Aus. Dental Council Exam Writing Team and the FDI 2021–23 World Congress Committee, leading the Australian delegation to Geneva (2022) and hosting the World Dental Congress in Sydney (2023).
A seasoned board director and health sector leader, Stephen is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (Order of Merit) and the HWA Health Sector Leadership Program, with over 15 years of non-executive directorship experience. He currently sits on the Board of Victorian Medical Insurance Agency Ltd.
His contributions have been recognised via the awarding of multiple international fellowships — including the International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and Academy of Dentistry International — as well as Honorary Membership of the New Zealand Dental Association and appointment as a Patron of the Drug Advisory Council of Australia. In 2025 he received the ADA Victoria Distinguished Service Award for contributions to the field & profession, & early in his career he received the inaugural Australian Outstanding Young Dentist Award.
He lives locally with his daughter & wife Susanna, a Mobile Vet. Outside of practice Stephen is a freelance photographer and enjoys adventuring outdoors.

Marjan has a passion for providing excellent care to all her patients from the young in age to the young at heart, as she has a breadth of experience in all areas of general and aesthetic dentistry. She joined the team 10 years ago, prior to becoming a partner in 2024.
Her cheerful and kind personality allows her patients, especially those with dental anxieties, to feel relaxed and comfortable. She can provide Nitrous Oxide gas during your appointment to help make the treatment more at ease. Marjan makes time to advise her patients on preventive care, talk through all the treatment options and always aims to provide treatment in a gentle and caring manner.
After graduating from the University of Manchester, UK in 2008, she worked as a Senior House Officer in the department of Maxillofacial Surgery before joining a family dental practice while completing her post-graduate qualification, MFDS (Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery). She now happily calls Melbourne home.
When not caring for her patients, Marjan enjoys broadening her horizons through travel and on the weekends she teaches children's classes which focus on helping kids build their inner character.
Marjan speaks fluent Persian, loves spending her Saturday's exploring brunch spots and trying new foods! Feel free to give her your favourite recommendations!

Sue King has worked at Camberwell Dental Group since 1999. She is a caring and experienced dentist who enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She particularly values the long standing relationships she has with many of her patients. In her spare time she enjoys walking, golf, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Lin Liang celebrated her 20th year at the practice in 2025. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially treating children and families for their ongoing dental needs. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and her patients love her friendly and gentle style of dentistry.

Jordan is a compassionate and caring dentist who strives to make patients feel comfortable and at ease. He graduated from the Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne.
He is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in preventative care and oral health education. He believes in empowering patients to take control of their oral health and building strong relationships to provide personal care.
Jordan has lived locally and has been with practice as a patient and dentist for over 15 years combined. His hobbies include snow sports, running, climbing and reading. -
Rochelle prioritises educating and empowering her patients, ensuring they are well-informed and confident in every step of their dental journey. With a keen eye for detail and a gentle empathetic approach, Rochelle is dedicated to helping her patients achieve natural results through treatments including Invisalign and veneers.
She has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners, enhancing her ability to deliver minimally invasive cosmetic results.
Rochelle and her family were long term patients of the practice, before she joined as a clinician.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys reformer pilates and playing the keyboard at her local church. Rochelle would love the opportunity to get to know you and take care of you and your family’s dental needs.

Ben is a proud Camberwell local who completed the Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne. Before joining Camberwell Dental Group as a dentist, he was a long-standing patient — a connection that shaped his deep appreciation for compassionate, community-focused care.
During his studies, Ben was recognised for academic excellence, receiving the Lewis Prize for the highest marks in Periodontics and a place on the Dean’s Honours List. He was also awarded the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia Award of Excellence, reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence across a broad spectrum of dental disciplines.
Ben is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed additional training in biomimetic dentistry — a modern approach that focuses on preserving and restoring teeth using techniques that mimic natural tooth structure. This philosophy supports his belief in conservative, long-lasting dental care.
In addition to his work in private practice, Ben also serves the community through his role at Better Health Network in Prahran. Here, he provides care for some of Melbourne’s most vulnerable and medically complex patients, furthering his dedication to accessible and inclusive dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Ben has been actively involved with Hawthorn Boroondara Cricket Club for over 20 years and plays soccer for Swinburne FC. He’s also a passionate skier and a loyal supporter of the St Kilda Football Club.

Practice Manager
Angela has managed the practice for over 20 years with pride, and is a caring, supportive person who enjoys looking after our team. She offers a wealth of knowledge and experience from all avenues in the dental industry. Having worked in several roles over her career, she is always able to inspire our staff.
In her spare time she loves to bake her signature cheesecakes for the team! We always look forward to her newest recipes.
Leanne
Assistant Practice Manager
Leanne brings over 20 years of experience to the dental industry, including her Diploma of Dental Technology, and is driven by a genuine passion for her work. She plays a key role in practice management while offering leadership and support to her team.
Outside the clinic, Leanne enjoys a busy and fulfilling family life with her high school sweetheart and their two energetic young boys. Weekends often find her courtside or on the sidelines, cheering on her sons in their sports, or hitting the basketball court herself.
Khadiga
Practice Coordinator
Khadiga completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science before starting her Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy/Hygiene, which sparked her love for the dental industry. With experience working as a Dental Assistant, Clinical Coordinator and Treatment Coordinator, her favourite part of the job is building genuine relationships with patients to ensure they feel comfortable, informed and happy. She loves travel, photography, animals, and plays AFL Women's football in her spare time.

Emily is one of our happy, and friendly receptionists. She makes sure everyone is treated to the highest standard of care and have the best experience possible. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music, gardening in the sun and going for walks.

Catherine - Qualified Dental Assistant
Catherine has been part of the team since 2017, and enjoys the variety of general dentistry as well as providing a high standard of care for patients. She is also a group fitness instructor with a passion for spin, loves live music & is a whiz at pub trivia.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Youth Work majoring in Sociology, and a Diploma of Counselling.

Clare has been a fully qualified dental assistant since 2013 and enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including the occasional day on reception. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, arts and crafts, and all things Pokemon.

Mara brings joy and enthusiasm to the practice and her dental career. She is passionate about soccer and her 3 cats. We can thank her for the original paintings and sculptures found in Surgery 4 and encouraging everyone to drink 2L of water a day!
